Issue 3: Whole School Considerations

Theme: Curriculum Flexibility and Innovation
Aim: To consider whole school approaches to facilitate the use of ICT to support learners with dyslexia
Target group: Secondary subject teachers
Heads of department/faculty heads

With advances in technology and an increased awareness in schools of the potential of flexible approaches to learning, pupils are able to access information on-line and access their learning via computers. This is a significant support to learners, particularly those with literacy difficulties. Teachers can make innovative and productive use of technology to facilitate learning.
